Terms of Service

OneBump lets a Discord server advertise itself in other servers. When someone in your server types /bump, your server’s advert is posted in 75% of the servers on OneBump. In return, other servers’ adverts are posted in one channel of yours, which we call your bump channel.

You must be allowed to manage a server to set OneBump up for it, and you must follow Discord’s own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while you use it.

You may not use OneBump to advertise:

scams, phishing, fake giveaways or anything that tricks people out of money, accounts or personal details

malware, cheats, cracked software or stolen accounts

hate, harassment, or content that attacks people for who they are

illegal goods or services

sexual content involving anyone under 18. We report this to Discord and, where the law requires, to the authorities

a server other than the one the advert describes. The Join button must lead to your own server

Your advert must be honest. Do not invent member counts, pose as someone else, or promise things your server does not offer.

If your server is for adults, you must mark it 18+ in its settings. 18+ adverts are only posted in servers that chose to receive them, in channels Discord has marked as age-restricted.

OneBump also checks this itself. It looks at text your server shows publicly (its name, description, channel names and topics, role names and your advert) and at reports from other people. If the signs are strong, your server is marked 18+ and the mark is locked.

A locked mark can only be removed by a OneBump moderator. You can ask for a review from your server’s dashboard or with the button the bot shows you. See how the 18+ rules work.

Bumping only works if everyone takes part honestly. You may not:

hide your bump channel from your members, or only open it while you bump

delete the adverts OneBump posts in your server, or mute the bot so they cannot be seen

automate the /bump command with scripts, self-bots or macros

run several servers as one group to get around the wait between bumps

file false reports, or abuse votes, referrals or gift links

Free servers can bump every 2 hours and Premium servers every 30 minutes. OneBump checks for the things above automatically. A server that breaks these rules may have its reach reduced, its bumping paused, or be removed from the network. Automatic checks never remove a server on their own: a person decides.

Anyone can report an advert. Every report becomes a case that a moderator reads. The server that was reported is told what the case is about and what was decided. It is never told who reported it.

We may remove or reset an advert, mark a server 18+, pause its bumping or remove it from the network when it breaks these terms. If you think we got it wrong, ask for a review and a moderator will look again.

Your server’s description, banner and settings stay yours. By setting OneBump up you allow us to show your advert (your server’s name, icon, description, banner, tags, member count and an invite link) in other servers. That is the service.

Banner images are copied and stored by us so they keep working.

A description is shown with its Discord formatting and links, except that invites to other servers are removed. Mentions in a description notify nobody. Links in a description must not lead to anything these terms forbid.

Premium is optional and is for one server at a time. Payments are handled by Stripe. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, including any tax.

Monthly and yearly Premium are subscriptions: they renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. Lifetime is a single payment and lasts for as long as OneBump runs.

You can cancel at any time from your Billing page, by yourself: it never needs an email or a conversation. Before the final button we may show you an offer or two that fits your reason; “No thanks” always carries on to it. When you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the time you have paid for, and you are not charged again.

You can move Premium to another server you manage, once every 24 hours, for free. If the bot is removed from a server, any Premium time it has left is kept so you can move it.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy: OneBump does not offer refunds unless required to by law or in extenuating circumstances. Premium is a digital service that starts as soon as you pay. By paying, you ask for it to start straight away and you acknowledge that, once it has started, you lose any legal right to withdraw from (cancel) that purchase within 14 days and get a refund. This does not stop you cancelling a subscription at any time so that it does not renew. To ask for a refund, contact us in the support server.

A gift is a link. Whoever opens it can put that Premium on one server they manage. A gift link works once, for 31 days. Anyone who has the link can use it, so only send it to the person it is for.

Voting for OneBump on top.gg earns credits: 30 credits can be swapped for 14 days of Premium. Bringing new servers to OneBump through your invite link earns Premium, and a share of what those servers spend. Rewards earned by cheating are removed.

We work to keep OneBump running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or that every bump reaches every server it could. We do not promise any particular number of new members.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer. Apart from those rights, and as far as the law allows, Bump LTD’s total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it.

You can stop using OneBump at any time by removing the bot from your server. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

We may change these terms. If a change is important we will announce it in the support server at least 30 days before it applies, and email people who pay for Premium.
