OneBump vs Bumper: which bump bot shares your server further?

By the OneBump team · 5 min read · Updated

The short answer

Bumper and OneBump are both network bump bots: a bump posts your advert in other servers' bump channels. Bumper lets you bump every hour across about 14,000 servers. OneBump reaches 37,000+ servers, 75% of them on every free bump, and is the one with an official auto bump on Premium. They do not conflict, so you can run both.

  • Network size: OneBump 37,000+ servers; Bumper about 14,000, as its Top.gg listing states.
  • Cooldown: Bumper 1 hour. OneBump 2 hours free, 30 minutes on Premium.
  • Auto bump: OneBump Premium bumps for you every 1 hour. We found no auto bump listed for Bumper.
  • Fair play: OneBump only sends adverts to servers that actually show them to members.

How each one works

Both bots work the same way at heart. You pick a channel where other servers' adverts appear, write your own advert, and run /bump. Your advert is then posted in the bump channels of other servers using the same bot. Nobody has to visit a website: the people who see it are already on Discord.

Bumper's listing describes a one-hour cooldown, with each advert staying at least 10 minutes in other servers before the next one replaces it. On OneBump you bump every 2 hours (30 minutes on Premium), and each bump is a new advert delivered to 75% of the network, or 100% on Premium. See what bumping is for the basics.

Reach: how many people see one bump

A bigger network means more servers, and more people, per bump. OneBump is roughly two and a half times the size, and a single free bump goes to 75% of it. Bumper bumps more often, which helps if you are online all day to press it; OneBump Premium closes that gap by bumping for you every 1 hour.

Fair play and safety

On a bump network your advert is only worth something if the servers it lands in really show it. OneBump checks that: a server that hides its bump channel from members, or deletes the adverts it receives, stops receiving them, so your bumps go to channels people read. OneBump also never asks for Administrator, and 18+ adverts only go to servers that asked for them.

Frequently asked questions

Is OneBump better than Bumper?

Both are bump networks. OneBump is larger (37,000+ servers against about 14,000) and has auto bump on Premium; Bumper has a shorter free cooldown. Running both reaches the most people.

Can I use OneBump and Bumper in the same server?

Yes. Each has its own /bump command and its own cooldown. You can even use the same channel for both bots' adverts.

What is the Bumper bump cooldown?

One hour, according to its Top.gg listing. OneBump's is 2 hours free and 30 minutes on Premium.

Does OneBump have auto bump?
