What is auto bump and how do I turn it on?

The short version
Auto bump is a Premium feature. OneBump bumps your server by itself every hour, day and night, so nobody has to type /bump. Each automatic bump reaches 100% of servers, where a free bump reaches 75%.

What is auto bump?
With auto bump on, OneBump bumps your server every hour without anyone asking. It keeps going at night and when nobody is online.
Why would I want it? And why not?

Auto bump is for servers where people forget to bump. It never misses.
Counted in free bumps: a free bump is sent to 75% of servers and counts as 1; a Premium bump is sent to 100% and counts as 1.3.
How do I turn it on?
Your server needs The paid plan for one server: OneBump bumps for you every hour, plus a banner and other extras.. You need the The Discord permission you need to change OneBump settings. permission in that server. Owners and administrators have it.
- In Discord: type
/settingsin your server. A menu called “OneBump settings” opens. Only you can see it. Press Premium settings, then Turn auto bump on. - On the website: log in, press your server, then press the Settings tab. Press the Reminders step. Turn on Auto bump and press Save changes.

OneBump also offers it the moment Premium starts: the message “Premium is on for this server” has a Turn on auto bump button.
How do I see that it is working?
Ask for a note. OneBump then posts a short message in a channel of yours after every automatic bump.
- In Discord: on the Premium settings screen, open the menu and pick a channel.
- On the website: under Auto bump, choose a channel in Post a note each time (optional) and press Save changes.

What can go wrong?
- The switch says “Premium” instead of On or Off. Your server is on the Free plan.
- Auto bump stopped. Premium ended, or bumping is paused for your server. Type
/info serverto see which. - “I can’t post in that channel”. OneBump cannot post the note in the channel you picked. Give it permission there, or pick another channel.

No. Bumping by hand is switched off while auto bump is on. Turn auto bump off to bump by hand again.
