How to block words in adverts you receive

The short version
Add up to 3 words or phrases to your blocked words (10 with Premium). Adverts whose server name, description or tags contain one are not sent to your server. It changes what you receive. It never changes who sees your advert.

What are blocked words?
OneBump already removes adverts that break its rules. Blocked words let you go further for your own server. A server for young gamers might block “gambling”. A study server might block “giveaway”.
How do I add one?
You need the The Discord permission you need to change OneBump settings. permission in that server. Owners and administrators have it.
- In Discord: type
/settingsin your server. A menu called “OneBump settings” opens. Only you can see it. Press Blocked words, then Add blocked words. (Once you have some, the button says Edit blocked words.) Type one word or phrase on each line and press Submit. - On the website: log in, press your server, then press the Settings tab. Press the Channel step. Type a word under Blocked words, press Enter, and press Save changes.

How does it match?
- It looks at the server name, the description and the tags of each advert.
- It ignores capital letters and accents, and sees through tricks such as
F.R.E.E N1TR0. - It matches whole words. Blocking
assblocks “kick ass”. It does not block “class”. - A word of 5 letters or more also matches inside a longer word. Blocking
cryptoblocks “CryptoKings”. - Each entry needs 3 to 40 characters.
What does it not do?
- It does not change who sees your advert.
- It does not remove adverts that are already in your channel.
- Other servers cannot see your list.
What can go wrong?
In Discord the answer is headed “Not saved yet”, with one of these lines under it. Press Fix it to open the list again.
