How to report an advert and follow your case

The short version
Press Report Server under the advert, pick the closest reason, and send. It takes about ten seconds. Your report becomes a case with a number, and you can follow it with /cases. The server you report is never told who reported it.

- Find the advert in your bump channel.
- Press Report Server under it. A form opens.
- Choose the closest reason. Add a sentence if you want.
- Press Submit.

Which reasons are there?

| 🛑 Child safety concern | Sexual or exploitative content involving anyone under 18. |
| 🎣 Scam or phishing | Free Nitro, fake giveaways, “verify your account” links, crypto doubling. |
| ☣️ Malware or dangerous downloads | Pushes cheats, cracked software, token grabbers or suspicious files. |
| 🔞 18+ content that is not marked 18+ | 18+ content showing up in a server that didn’t opt in. |
| 💢 Hate or harassment | Attacks people for who they are, or organises harassment. |
| ⚠️ Illegal goods or services | Drugs, weapons, stolen accounts, carding, fake documents. |
| 🪤 Invite goes somewhere else | The Join button leads to a different server than the advert shows. |
| 📢 Spam or misleading advert | Nonsense text, fake member counts, promises it can’t keep. |
| 🎭 Pretending to be someone else | Poses as an official server, brand, creator or Discord staff. |
| 💬 Something else | Doesn’t fit the list? Tell us in your own words. |

We do not tell you what was done to another server. That is private to that server.
How do I follow my case?
- In Discord: type
/cases. It lists the reports you sent and where each one is. - On the website: log in, press your name at the top right, and press Reports I sent.

- You can send 5 reports in an hour.
- You cannot report your own server’s advert.
- For “Something else”, write at least 10 characters about what is wrong.
- People who keep sending reports that are not valid lose the ability to report for a while.
What if my server is reported?
- If the moderator finds nothing wrong, nothing changes and your server is not sent anything.
- You never see who reported it, how many people did, or what they wrote.
- Once a moderator has decided something, it is a case you can read. For an admin,
/caseslists it under “About this server”. On the website your server gets a Cases tab. - If you think the decision is wrong, ask for a review. In Discord, press Ask for a review under the case. On the website, open the Cases tab, write under Ask for a review and press Send to a moderator. Each decision can be looked at again once.
OneBump does not post what it decided where every member can read it. Your server gets a message called “A message for this server’s admins”, with a Read it button. When someone with the Manage Server permission presses it, the news opens for them alone. Anyone else is told “Only admins can read this”.

Will the server know I reported it?
No. Reports are private. The server is told what the case is about and what was decided, never who reported it.

What can I report?
Scams, malware, unmarked adult content, hate, illegal goods, a Join button that leads to another server, spam, and people pretending to be someone else. There are 10 reasons to choose from.
