How to use the OneBump website

4 min read · Updated

The short version

Log in with your Discord account. There is no separate password. You see the servers you manage, and you press one to see its numbers and change its settings. Almost every setting that /settings opens in Discord is here too, with a live preview of your advert.

How do I log in?

  1. Press Log in at the top of this website.
  2. Press Continue with Discord.
  3. Discord asks if OneBump may see your name and your servers, and add you to servers. Say yes.

You stay logged in for 7 days without a visit, and never longer than 30 days.

What is on “My servers”?

  • Every server you manage that has OneBump is a card with its name and plan. Press the card to open the server.
  • If setup is not finished the card says Finish setting up, and pressing it carries on where you left off.
  • A server without OneBump is listed below the cards, with an Add button.

Why is my server not in the list?

  • You need the permission there. Owners and administrators have it. If someone else owns the server, ask them for a role with that permission.
  • You just made the server, or just got the permission. Press Refresh my servers.
  • You are logged in with another Discord account. Log out, then log in with the right one.

What are the tabs of a server?

The tabs of one server. On a phone, swipe the row sideways to reach the last ones.
  1. Overview: when you can bump next, a Bump now button, and your numbers. Read what the numbers mean.
  2. Settings: your advert, your bump channel and the other settings, with a live preview. One switch is in Discord only: the one that stops the “Time to bump!” message for the whole server.
  3. Activity: the server’s audit log. Everything shows it all together; Bumps is every bump, and why one did not go out; Settings changes is every change to the settings, with who made it; Moderation is any fair-play note, warning, pause or 18+ lock.
  4. Leaderboard: the people who bump this server the most, for the last 7 or 30 days or all time.
  5. Stats reports: your numbers for a period, saved as a page you can print or download. This is not for reporting an advert.
  6. Premium: whether this server has Premium, until when, and who pays for it.

A sixth tab, Cases, is only there when OneBump’s moderators have decided something about your server. It lists those cases, and it is where you ask a moderator to look again.

What is in the menu under my name?

What is on the Account page?

  • Mention me when I can bump again: your own reminder switch. With it on, OneBump mentions you when a server you bumped can be bumped again. It follows you to every server.
  • Email me tips, product updates and offers: off unless you turn it on. Receipts are sent either way.
  • Log out everywhere: ends your login in every browser, and tells Discord to forget the access you gave this website. Use it after using a shared computer.

To get a copy of your data, or to have it deleted, ask in the OneBump support server. We act within 30 days.

Can I bump from the website?

Yes. Press Bump now on the Overview tab. It follows exactly the same rules and the same wait as typing /bump. If something stops the bump, the website says what, in words.

What can go wrong?

  • “There’s nothing here”. The address is wrong, or it is a server you do not manage.
  • “Login was cancelled”. You pressed Cancel on Discord. Nothing was changed. Try again.
  • The page says it could not reach Discord. Discord did not answer. Reload in a moment.
  • A setting will not save. Read the red line under the field. It names what to change.
